What to expect
This session is about getting your hands on the keyboard, trying something new, and discovering practical ways to work with AI.
Our goals are simple:
- Get hands-on with AI. Spend less time watching and more time building.
- Move beyond your comfort zone. Choose an altitude that challenges you and see where it takes you.
- Start small. You aren't expected to finish a production-ready system. Use an MVP mindset to prototype, experiment, and learn.
- Have fun together. Collaborate with your table, share what you discover, and find new ways to use AI.
You don't need to be a developer. Everything in this session can be built with help from AI. Ever heard of vibe coding? This is your chance to try it. Getting stuck is part of experimenting, and you have several ways to get support.
If you get stuck
- Ask AI first. Describe what you're trying to do, share the problem, and ask for a next step. Cowork, Scout, and GitHub Copilot might surprise you.
- Ask your table subject matter expert (SME). Each table has a dedicated first line of support. Find out who your SME is before you begin.
- Find a coach. Coaches wear bright yellow vests. If you and your table SME are stumped, wave down a coach for help.
