Scenario

As the Operations Lead for Contoso’s regional distribution center in Fargo, North Dakota, you’re tasked with managing its upcoming expansion. This initiative is critical to support Contoso’s rapid business growth throughout the Midwest and to improve supply chain efficiency for the upcoming year.

The expansion involves:

  • Constructing a new warehouse wing and upgrading existing loading docks.

  • Transitioning inventory and equipment from the old facility to the new space with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

  • Updating safety protocols to account for new construction zones, equipment, and emergency procedures.
